April Showers Bring Wedding Flowers
Okay… that was a bit of a cheesy title… but this wedding was nothing short of sappy + romantic, so I thought it earned a cute title like that!
Cameron + Courtney are one of the sweetest, most in-love couples I’ve worked with to this day. It didn’t seem to matter what was thrown their way, nothing broke their excitement to get married. Including the rain!
The morning began at 21C Hotel where all the girls were getting ready. (This has to be one of my favorite hotels to get ready in! So much gorgeous natural light!) The girls were so helpful and all looked stunning in their bridesmaids dresses! Courtney’s dress was nothing short of amazing. It looked like she stepped right into a fairytale… (I’m still gushing over it and may even get the same one for my wedding some day!!) The room was so cute we took most of their photos in there before heading off to the church for their ceremony.
While the girls were getting ready, the men were all at the venue getting ready.
One of my favorite moments of the entire day happened right before the ceremony. It wasn’t the most epic/beautiful location or the perfect lighting… in fact, it was the exact opposite of that. It was a wide hallway in the church with florescent lighting and stacks of chairs and tables all over the place. This is where we hid Cameron around a corner and he and his soon-to-be wife read their vows to one another for the first time. The amount of emotion was palpable. It made me tear up watching them express their love for one another while fighting back their tears (and not winning). It was beyond clear in that moment that these two souls were divinely made for one another. To be a witness to this and take part in their day, I will forever be grateful.
After this, the day was just as precious and smooth sailing!
Another one of my favorite moments during their day is when we ditched the wedding to go to Coffee Slingers next door to grab a cup of coffee! (I’m a sucker for a good cup of coffee!)
Then we partied the night away! Probably one of my favorite receptions. So much dancing!!
